Which are the arrival days and which is minimum stay?

Arrivals at houses will always take place on Fridays, and arrivals at apartments on Saturdays, from the first Friday in July and until the last Saturday in August. 7 night minimum stay is required.

During the rest of the year a 4 night minimum stay is possible and in most cases you can choose another arrival day. Bookings can all be done on-line. The maximum stay is 45 days.  

 

 

Are there Towels and bed linen in the properties?

Towels and bed linen are not included, but you have the possibility to rent them for the price that is indicated in the description of the house/ flat or in the rental conditions.

 


Are there additional services?
Some additional services are available upon request. You can see which services are available in the respective descriptions of the homes (bed linen, towels, heating, car rental, boat rental, excursions, additional cleaning, restaurant and golf reservation ect.). Additional services should be ordered by email to our office no later than 1 week prior to your arrival. The total amount of the additional services ordered should be paid in cash in EUR together with the safety deposit upon arrival.

 


Payment of the reservation
If the booking is made less than 15 days prior to arrival you are required to pay the full amount for your lodging no later than 7 days after your booking.

A payment by credit card is only possible when booking online. If you don’t want to pay by credit card you have also the possibility to use the traditional forms of payment: paying 40% of the total amount by International Bank Transfer or Cheque. The remaining 60% of the rent should be paid no later than 7 days before your arrival.

The only forms of payment that will be accepted on arrival are cheques and cash payment.
The costs of the bank transfers are on account of the tenant. Please read more in the general
payment conditions.

 


When will I recive the Voucher?
You will automatically receive your voucher, when you have paid the deposit for the rental.

 


When are the Arrival and departure times?

The rental period starts on the first day at 16.00 h with the check-in (key delivery, payment of the safety deposit and additional costs if any). Departure must take place on the last day of the rental period before 10.00 h.

 

 

Where do we have to pick up the keys?

If you rented a property in Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc., Palafrugell, Mont-ras or Torrent, then you´ve to pick up the keys at our office in calella. If you rented a property in Begur, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aigua Gelida, Aigua Freda, Tamariu, Fornells, Pals or Aiguablava then you´ve to pick up the keys at our office in Begur

 


Do we have to give a Safety deposit?
A deposit by credit card or cheque has to be left upon arrival, which serves as guarantee to cover potential costs of repairs or for replacement of keys in case they get lost. The exact amount of the deposit is stated in each property description on this website and moreover it is shown on the voucher. The guarantee will be destroyed latest 7 days after departure if the property has been left in good order and the keys have been returned. If any damage has ocurred, then it will be partially returned within the same time span.

 

Are there any cleanings included?
The property is cleaned before your arrival. During your stay there are no cleaning services scheduled or included but upon request we can arrange additional cleaning according to your wishes. The final cleaning on departure day is compulsory and included in the rental amount.

 

Is it possible to bring Animals?
Most of the owners doesn’t permit pets to stay in their properties, for this reason you should contact Immo Cala Marquesa in any case, if you want to bring your pet along.

In the case of permission an additional cleaning fee will be charged. More information can be found in the reservation conditions.

 


Can we use the BBQ?
Some of the apartments/ houses have a garden grill/BBQ. Pursuant
to the provisions of 64/1995, of 7 March, it’s only allowed to light a barbecue provided it is a construction barbecue with sparkles protection, during the period 15/3 – 15/10. Hot weather has left land extremly dry, so the risk of fire is high. Please be aware of the risks and accept our community’s behavioural norms. Immo Calamarquesa won’t take the responsibility for any accidents.

 


Can we drink the Water from the tap?
You can drink the water from the tap, but we recommend that you buy it due to its chlorine taste.
Normally the water consumption is included in the rental price but we encourage you to be conscious about the consumption during your stay as water is a scarce resource in Spain.

 

When will we have to pay the remaining 60% amount?  

As shown on the booking conditions, the outstanding amount of 60 % must be paid 1 week before  your arrival.

 

If we have booked towels and bed linen and we have booked more then 1 week , will there be changed after 1 week by the maids?

No, you have to order sheets and towels for 2 weeks together with 1 hour cleaning service , if you want to have them changed by the maids. If you order only one set per person, they will not been changed, but you can wash them if you prefer.
